It has been a busy and exciting start to the year at Haymont, and the team is pleased to share the latest updates. Stage 5 works are now complete, and the team is currently working through securing the final Authority approvals required to achieve Statement of Compliance (SOC).

This March, Geelong will host one of its most thrilling sporting events of the year, just a short distance from Haymont, making it the perfect weekend outing. The Ironman 70.

Geelong Canoe Club’s Kayaking4Kids program is back in 2025 with their eight-week paddle course returning for another year. Designed for children aged between 8 and 15 years old, participants are welcome to explore the sport of paddling in a fun, safe, and supervised environment.

Calling all Haymont families with little ones begging for a dip in the pool this summer! Join a series of local swimming events at aquatic sports centres and recreational centres that offer free entry, live DJs, and varied children’s activities for all ages.

Looking back on 2024, we’d like to take a moment to appreciate how the Haymont community has grown! Here are some of our favourite things that happened last year.

November was another busy month at Haymont and with progress advancing smoothly, the team is excited to share the latest developments from site. Stage 5 has made significant strides, with crushed rock installation on the roads nearly complete and the kerb and channel works fast approaching completion.

Get ready to kick off the holiday season with ‘Christmas in the Grove’ on 4 December from 5pm – 8pm at  The Terrace, Ocean Grove. A festive celebration that brings our community together for a magical evening of holiday cheer!

After an amazing debut last year, the Geelong Comedy Festival returns. Bringing over 60 comedy acts from around Australia into eight venues along Geelong’s beloved Little Malop Street starting from Thursday 31 October until Sunday 3 November.
