Get back to nature in the Gardens!
Nature Play in the Gardens returns, and Geelong has been chosen as this year’s host of the fun-filled community event.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Nature Play Week across Victoria, Geelong will welcome families for a morning of educational fun and nature-based play in the beautiful surrounds of our local Geelong Botanic Gardens.
Nature Play in the Gardens promotes fun activities for children, getting them back to basics and exploring nature crafts, storytelling, and sensory play. Kids will also be treated to reptile demonstrations and entertaining performances throughout the day.
Bring your kids and don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty! Make sure to pack a picnic rug, hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent to get the most out of this immersive morning in nature.
Nature Play in the Gardens is running free experiences for families from 10am-1pm on Tuesday 18th April.
